Partnering With Tomorrow’s Workforce Today.

The Workforce Alliance Partnership for Placement (WAPP) is a non-profit organization founded in 2017 by community leaders, employers, and the Hardin County School System.  Our immediate focus is allocated towards developing strategies and solutions with a systematic approach to discovering motivated young men and women graduating from Hardin County who desire full-time or part-time employment within our community.  Among our community are eager employers seeking young, skilled workers who are motivated to succeed, have a desire to learn and grow, and are reliable, dependable, trustworthy, and ready to get to work.

For several years, Hardin County Schools has allocated staff members, funding, time, and training towards the development of Career and Technical Education (CTE) to provide opportunities for students who may not be seeking post-education following high school graduation. Meanwhile, larger employers in Hardin County struggle to meet demands nationally due to workforce availability. With roughly half of Hardin County graduates not seeking a degree from a University, there is a unique opportunity to develop the youth in our community to enter the workforce with a decent paying job with sustainable long-term benefits and scalable opportunities.
